Inside Daily Provisions

Daily Provisions is a daily reading app. Each day has a Bible passage, a short reflection and a prayer. This page shows every day of the year: what it teaches, and whether every audience gets the same text or a version adapted for them.

Inside one reading

What changes and what never does

Always shared

The Bible passage, its reference and the day's themes. These stay the same on every day, adapted or not.

Adapted days only

The title, reflection, contemplation and prayer. On an adapted day, all of these come from the adaptation, so they fit together.

Adapted days

The 67 days adapted for your audience

Each of these days has a local topic. On these days, an adaptation for your audience replaces the shared English. A local reviewer checks the adaptation, and then your team translates it. Some days have two local topics, so they appear twice in this list.

What the year teaches

Readings, grouped by teaching point

Each reading is tagged with one to three teaching points: the main things it teaches. They come from the 36 teaching points that all our apps use. Open a teaching point to see its readings. An adapted reading shows its local topics, not its title, because its title is different for each audience.
