Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the Scripture engagement application services offered by Himalayan SE Labs ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site or subscribing to our services, you agree to these Terms.

What we offer

Himalayan SE Labs provides Scripture engagement applications and digital platforms, offered as subscription plans (currently "One App" and "App Suite," as described on our Pricing page). Plan features and pricing may change; the current version on this site controls.

Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Subscriptions are sold in twelve-month terms and billed annually in advance, at the annual price shown; one year is the minimum purchase.

You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the twelve-month term you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for unused time in a term, whether or not you continue to use the services, except where a refund is required by law.

Terms renew for a further twelve months unless you tell us otherwise before the term ends. We'll contact you ahead of any renewal that involves a price change.

What happens when your subscription ends

When a subscription lapses or is cancelled, you lose access to the builder admin system. In practice this means you can no longer change your application's content, branding, or configuration, and your applications stop receiving software updates, new features, and non-critical maintenance.

The progressive web application (PWA) we have already published on your behalf remains hosted and accessible to your community, at no further charge, for as long as Himalayan SE Labs continues to operate. We do not guarantee that it will continue to function indefinitely on future devices, browsers, or operating systems, since we will not be updating it.

If we ever have to discontinue hosting — because we cease operating, or because continuing is no longer technically or financially viable — we will give you at least 90 days' written notice at your last known email address, and on request an export of the content you provided to us, so that you can arrange hosting elsewhere.

Your content

You're responsible for the accuracy of information you submit to us, including through the contact form, and for any Scripture text, translations, audio, or other content your organization provides for use in an application we build for you. You confirm you have the rights necessary to share that content with us.

Our content

The Himalayan SE Labs name, branding, and the underlying platform we use to build applications remain our property. Content specific to your language community (translations, audio, branding you provide) remains yours; we use it only to build and operate the application on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site or our services to send unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent content, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

This site and our services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Himalayan SE Labs isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
